MEETING WEEK DAY CHANGED!!!

Flower City Picker's Board Meetings are held on the second MONDAY (previously Wednesdays) of each month. Meetings are ALWAYS open to everyone-even if you've never volunteered! Locations are subject to change and those interested will be notified via our website, social media, and email.

Location of meetings are subject to change. Please check the website, social media, and email for updates. 

Meetings will have objectives and will be outlined the week prior to the meeting and posted on our website and social media pages. If you miss a meeting, notes will be posted on our website or sent via email.

Why are meetings important?

It allows space for each of us to have a voice without the distraction of our volunteering work environment. If you've ever been to the market volunteering on a Saturday, you know that us Pickers don't have too much time to discuss things! It's fast paced with fruits and veggies flying every which way! Because of this, meetings are very important for it allows us (especially Khoury and those collecting who are away from the tent most of the day) to be able to interact without environmental distractions. Space is created and time reserved to discuss topics and issues related to FCP. It necessitates face-to-face human interactions and gives us feedback that emails and social sites can't provide. We get to talk with one another and form valuable relationships with individuals whose interests align with our own.

Refreshments are provided during meetings!
