We’ll be on the radio!

Tomorrow, (Tuesday 28th) starting at noon, Flower City Pickers will be on WXXI Public Broadcasting's Connections with Evan Dawson. In partnership with NPR and PBS, WXXI will ask us how we help prevent food waste in our community locally at Rochester's Public Market.

We'll take you with us inside our market Saturday during collections where you'll meet volunteers, vendors, shelter staff, and those who benefit from our donations. Want to know more about us and our story? Tune in at noon to learn about these things and where we will also talk about homelessness, food insecurity, food equity, food desserts, food sustainability, and other topics.

Call 1-844-295-TALK (8255) to participate!
